The Weekend Church has it's own flags!  Here you can learn about them and what they mean. Flags are used to represent what kingdom/nation you belong to and in some cases are used to denote where you are in that kingdom.  The one you fly highest is the nation you put above the others.

Flags of the Weekend Church

Christian Flag

The traditional Christian Flag is still accepted in the Weekend Church as the official flag of Chrisitianity  The white represents the purity of Jesus, the blue represents Truth, and the red represents his cleansing blood.

Disciple Flag

This is the flag representative of those who are studying in the Bible.  It takes the Christian flag and turns the field yellow to represent the kingdom of heaven and the cross blue to represent truth.

Missionary Flag

The brave individuals who go out into the farthest reaches of the globe to preach the gospel have their own flag as well!  This takes the Disciple flag and adds 12 stars representing the 12 disciples whom Jesus had surrounded himself with.  It also has a banner hanging on it that says "John 3:16-21" which is red to represent the blood that Jesus shed upon the cross and the salvation it gives through the verses cited.

Battle Flag

All those who are actively warring with Satan have this flag.  Primarily used by church leadership but may be used by all members of the church.  It is the official flag of the church.  This takes the Missionary Flag and adds 12 stripes, which also represent the twelve disciples.  The red stripes represent the stripes Jesus bore during the crucifixion.  The white stripes represent purity of Jesus.  The black stripe represents darkness and the white text represents that the promises and prophecies concerning the return of Jesus are a light in that darkness, as per the cited verse "2 Peter 1:19"  The stripes are vertical towards heaven.
