Below is the Constitution of the Weekend Church of Jesus Christ.  It was written by Samuel England and is based upon the teachings of the New Testament authors.
A constitution is required for any large scale organization.

PREAMBLE

I, the founder of the Weekend Church, here constitute a new church of Jesus Christ. This church will be founded upon the teachings of the New Testament and will reject all assumed doctrines of the established churches in favor of the truth contained within the New Testament.

ARTICLE ONE - The Church Leadership

Church Leadership will be as outlined in 1 Timothy 3 with a few additions to aid in operating an organization in the modern world. None of these positions are the head of the church as that position belongs to Jesus alone. The Church Leadership merely handles church affairs such as community calendars, deciding what to cover in the meetings, how to reach out to the community, etc.

The Office of Bishop
The office of Bishop is an office held by those who are strong in their faith and wish to help the Deacons and Overseers with church events. The requirements for the office of Bishop are as follows:

1. Must not bare any blame
2. Must only be married to one spouse at a specific time
3. Must be vigilant, sober, and of good behavior
4. Must show hospitality
5. Must be apt to teach
6. Must not be addicted to alcoholic substances or mind altering drugs.
7. Must not be violent
8. Must not be greedy for money
9. Must be patient
10. Must not be covetous, wanting things which are not theirs
11. Must be capable of keeping a peaceful and loving house
12. Must be capable of keeping his children under control
13. Must not be a beginner Christian, or else he may fall into pride
14. Must not speak ill of those who are without

The Office of Deacon
The office of Deacon is an office held by those who not only are strong in their faith but are reaching out to those in the community. The requirements for the office of Deacon are as follows:

1. Must be serious
2. Must not be hypocritical
3. Must not be addicted to alcoholic substances or mind altering drugs.
4. Must not be greedy for money
5. Must hold the mystery of faith in a pure, unaltered conscience.
6. Must first prove their faith and knowledge before taking office.
7. Must be blameless.
8. Must only have one spouse at a specific time.
9. Must rule their children and house well, keeping it peaceful and loving.

The requirements for the spouse of Deacons

1. Must be serious
2. Must not be slanderous
3. Must not be addicted to alcoholic substances or mind altering drugs.
4. Must be faithful in all things.

Those who serve well as deacons obtain a good standing and great boldness in the faith in Jesus Christ.

The Office of Overseer
In office of overseer is intended to be a position in which the holder of said office runs the meetings of the church leadership and holds votes on various issues. The requirements of the office of Overseer are the same as that of the office of Deacon. The overseer is a deacon who will maintain an administrative role in the church. By default, the founder of the church is the Overseer, however the founder may delegate that power to a deacon of their choosing if they so wish. Overseers are not the head of the church but rather a person who manages church affairs beyond those which occur during church meetings, such as deciding topics of study, calendars of events, and the like with the assistance of the Deacons and Bishops.

The Office of Supreme Overseer
The office of supreme overseer is an office held that deals with the administrative roles of the church as a whole and helps decide the policies of all churches below it. The Supreme Overseer is not the head of the church and has no control over the church but may make suggestions to those churchs. The Supreme Overseer is also the primary representative of the church itself outside of church meetings.  There are no term limits for this position. The requirements are that the candidate be an Overseer of a church for a minimum of three years. Due to the possibility of corruption, a vote of a 3/4 majority from the Overseers removes them from power and individual churches may decide not to follow the orders of the Supreme Overseer. If the Supreme Overseer is no where to be seen and does not communicate for more than one month than it is to be assumed that the position has been abandoned and a new one may be installed by a majority vote.

ARTICLE TWO - Electing to the Offices of Deacon and Bishop

The positions of Deacon and Bishop will be held by those who are capable of proving their faith in the return of Jesus Christ, their keeping of his commandments, and their baptism in the holy spirit.

Candidates for these offices must submit a report in which they will argue their case for election to these positions. The congregation will vote, based on the report, on whether they feel the individual is capable of holding the office they so seek. A simple majority is all that is needed to gain this position. Voting will be held for one week. There is no limit to the amount of time spent in these offices or the number of people holding these offices.

ARTICLE THREE - Overseer Orders

The overseers of the individual churches hold the right to author orders which deal with the operations of their specific church. The supreme overseer may author orders which are to be taken merely as suggestions to all churches from the upper leadership. All Deacons, Bishops, and Overseers may communicate with the Supreme Overseer through the Weekend Church forums.

ARTICLE FOUR - Amendments

Amendments to the Constitution of the Weekend Church are to be submitted for review by the Overseers. A 3/4 majority vote is required for all amendments.
